What is Costa Chido?

A private, quirk-tastic, guesthouse with curated experiences for kick ass people, and their favorite people. 

Our dream was to build a truly unique guest house / boutique hotel that would bring people together and help foster new friendships while strengthening current ones.  

We know from our own experience that the most memorable (kiteboarding) vacations, holidays, and trips are those that bring kick ass people (like kiteboarders) together in unique and culturally rich environments; where sharing the stoke for wind, nature, travel, and life permeates the group's days spent riding, adventuring, relaxing, and socializing together.  These are truly the vacations where lifelong friendships are born and nurtured.

Where is Costa Chido?

We are in a super epic location to say the least, roughly 50 yards (meters) from the playa in El Cuyo...literally across the street from the beach. It will take about 30 seconds for your feet to leave your room before they are dipping in the warm ocean waters.

Who is Costa Chido?
We are a team of dedicated individuals and our staffs' combined experience means "we got you".
We have professional and personal experience spanning event planning, hospitality, world travel, kitesurfing, raising humans, successful careers and burn-outs, bug bites and sunburns.  
 

We hope to share our love of beach life, adventure, culture, kiting, and community with you...one vacation at a time.

Why Costa Chido?

Adulting is hard, you manage a lot, and vacations are never long enough!  We understand this. Guests and groups are paired by and with our team to curate experiences, memories, and ways to decompress.      

We also have an epic kiteboarding school onsite offering lessons year round, and gear rentals including kiteboarding, kitesurfing, and foil gear.

 

When is Costa Chido (right for you)?      
Great question.  Costa Chido is currently finishing up phase 1 of construction with plans to be open by January of 2024.

That being said, are you a kiter looking for wind?  Then Jan-May are the best months for you.  Are you a fishermen looking to land a trophy snook, or a SUPer wanting flat water, a bird watcher wanting to see flamingos, or....you get the point.  Feel free to contact us to inquire about the best season for your visit to Costa Chido, catered to your interests and preferred schedule of adventures.
